Electrical Design Engineer (Power)

The Staff Engineer, Electrical Design - Power develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications and provides support throughout the manufacturing process. The role involves research, design, testing, and validation of systems, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers
• Review and interpret customer requirements and specifications
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
• Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Testing, simulation, and measuring the performance of systems
• Keep up-to-date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Analyze and interpret data and information
• Recommend modifications for systems
