Manager, Public Sales (Remote)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Eight years sales experience with a minimum 3 years in sales management
• Experience and/or demonstrated aptitude for working with both inside and field sales teams
• Documented track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals as a manager
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Must possess validated supervisory and leadership skills including team development and sales coaching
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Familiarity with technology and desktop programs is necessary, as well as knowledge of electronic references, and technology issues in the marketplace
• Must possess a sound understanding and expertise in business-to-business professional selling techniques using the telephone and face-to-face
• Must have strong working knowledge of financial procedures and controls, and strong networking and negotiating skills
• Analytical and tactical planning skills are crucial
