Electronics Engineer I

CesiumAstro is seeking an Electronics Engineer I to join their team. The successful candidate will own significant portions of full-stack hardware development for complex electronics modules, performing hands-on work at each phase from concept development to delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Industry or university research experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
• Direct experience designing high-reliability electronics, with elements such as part derating, worst-case analysis, and thermal constraints.
• Experience owning the design phase of circuits or boards, including trade studies, key part selection, and detailed design.
• PCB layout experience.
• Working knowledge of adjacent fields, such as software and mechanical.
• Proficiency in electronics design tools such as Altium.
• Strong lab experience for bring-up and verification of new hardware.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
