Design Engineer I

Design Engineer I will prepare, check and validate General Arrangement drawings, generate 3D models and manufacturing drawings, create technical documents, and support manufacturing teams in troubleshooting non-conformities. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, 3D drafting skills, and experience in rotating equipment selections.

Requirements

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
• 3D drafting skills in Autocad, Autodesk Inventor & Ansys
• Experience in rotating equipment selections
• Familiarity with processes & practices in steel, cement, power tunnel or railway
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Ability to plan, direct and control at an operational level
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent team player
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative
