Job Description
The Systems Engineer – Scripting and Automation is a senior-level engineering role focused on designing, stabilizing, and formalizing automation within the data center environment.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance required at time of hire
- Senior-level experience in computer systems engineering, systems architecture, or automation engineering
- At least 6-9 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation or scripting in an enterprise or data center environment
- Strong proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar (3-5 years of experience)
- Demonstrated experience stabilizing, refactoring, or standardizing existing automation and scripting
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, data center systems, or mission-critical environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop clear, maintainable technical documentation
- Ability to work onsite as required
