Job Description
The SY 25-26 Bilingual Teacher ELPT is responsible for instruction, specialized services, and support to students in developing their English language skills, and performs related duties as required.
Requirements
- Successful completion of all student teaching requirements
- Appropriate teaching license(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
- Bilingual endorsement in the grade level being taught
- Knowledge of subject matter consistent with state certification requirements
- Contemporary principles and practices of teaching
- Classroom and behavior management techniques
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Sound and professional judgment
