FULL TIME BUS OPERATOR

Operates a bus over an established route adhering to a predetermined schedule in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner to allow passengers to board, travel, and alight at scheduled stops.

Requirements

• Drive bus and announce stops along routes
• Inspect passes and ensure customers deposit only appropriate coins and bills into fare-box
• Issue and receive transfer cards and fare-cards
• Contact Control Center regarding problems
• Operate lift to board and discharge disabled passengers
• Inspect vehicle for lost articles
• Perform other duties as assigned
