A manufacturing maintenance manager oversees all aspects of machinery upkeep to ensure production lines run smoothly and safely. They will also be focused on leading and training a maintenance team, scheduling routine and emergency repairs, managing the maintenance budget, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Establishes standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, and oversees maintenance of plant buildings.
- Directs maintenance of plant buildings and coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
- Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
- Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
- Participate in the implementation and utilization of the CBS tools.
- Participate in the interviewing of maintenance technician candidates to build a highly skilled maintenance team.
