Job Description
City Build Recruitment is partnering with a leading architectural firm to recruit a Senior Designer with extensive experience in commercial and retail projects. The role involves overseeing design development, production, and coordination across all project phases, including municipal approvals, working drawings, and contract administration.
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Science, or Architectural Technology
- OAA membership or eligibility is an asset
- 15+ years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of current Building Codes, standards, construction methods, detailing, and building science
- Experience with large regional shopping centres, including expansions, renovations to common mall areas, and conversions of vacant department stores
- Industrial or large-format project experience is an asset
- Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
