Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff oversees MOPT's staff hiring processes, organizational structure, and day-to-day operations. In close collaboration with the Executive Director, the Chief of Staff will lead initiatives and projects, help coordinate external engagements, and establish systems to track, evaluate, and communicate about MOPT's work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in housing policy, government, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Proven experience building new teams and programs, managing large groups and budgets.
• Familiarity with the history of tenant protection work in New York City, a strong existing understanding of and relationships with relevant parties across the City and State government.
