Job Description
The Part-time Arts Specialist will be responsible for participating in the administration, scheduling, development, promotion and marketing, as well as the implementation of art courses and programs, exhibitions, performances and artistic events in the fields of theatre, dance, music, visual arts, literary arts or media arts.
Requirements
- Must be registered in a college or university arts program or have experience in one of the following disciplines: music, dance, theatre, visual arts, literary arts, media arts, or arts education.
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in the exercise or teaching of a related discipline, and have the technical skills and training necessary to safely operate specialized equipment, such as potteries, pottery wheels, lighting, and stages.
- Must have completed the required health and safety training as required by law and the City of Ottawa.
