Job Description
The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Deputy City Solicitor for the Civil Rights Unit. The ideal candidate will have several years of civil litigation experience, preferably involving issues relating to civil rights litigation. The role involves advising and representing the City of Philadelphia and its employees in federal and state court, conducting research and analysis of legal problems, and supervising legal assistants.
Requirements
- A law degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Five or more years of litigation experience
- Membership in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar, or eligibility to be admitted by reciprocity
