Maintenance Millwright

The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The position will involve working with rotating equipment, steel fabrication/welding, hydraulics and pneumatics, power transmissions, oil seals, bearings, and pipings.

Requirements

• Minimum Journeyman skill level experience in an industrial mechanical system
• Mechanical experience in Rotating Equipment, Bearings, Precision alignment, Product Moving Systems, Power Transmissions, Oil Seals, Mobile Equipment, and Gear Reducers
• Pulp and Paper industry experience preferred
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing practices and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn through self-directed study and desire for advancement
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Maintains cooperative working relationships and demonstrates a positive attitude and consideration towards fellow employees and supervision
• High school diploma or GED required
