Cloud Operations Manager (AWS)

Role Overview

As a Cloud Manager (AWS), you will oversee a team of engineers on the multicultural Cloud Operations team, providing outstanding customer service for AWS Cloud Infrastructure, including optimization and configuration of customer AWS environments.

What You Will Do

Lead team development, operational excellence, and communication. Author re-usable Infrastructure-as-Code to provision complex, scalable AWS environments. Identify areas for cost savings through AutoScaling, right-sizing, and elimination of waste within the customer’s AWS environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in software/computer engineering or computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing AWS cloud workloads or similar experience
• 2+ years of technical team management or related experience with customer-facing teams
• Knowledge of ITIL Concepts (Incident, Major Incident, Problem, and Change)
• Experience in a technical customer support role that included planning, coordinating, problem resolution, and documentation
• Effective communication skills (proficiency in English language)
• Self-driven, ability to work independently or as part of a project team with limited supervision
