Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

Join the Citrix Secure Private Access team as a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and develop new capabilities and complex systems using cloud native frameworks. Work on large-scale distributed systems that set the technical backbone for security, reliability, performance, compliance, and cost efficiency across our services.

What You Will Do

Design and develop new capabilities and complex systems using cloud native frameworks. Develop and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS or GKE). Implement and manage cloud services and infrastructure within the Microsoft-Azure, AWS and/or GCP platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of deep experience with a major provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Expert-level knowledge in containerization with Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration, Docker, and service meshes (like Istio)
• Proficiency in at least one backend language used for tooling and automation (Python, Go, or Rust)
• Advanced experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Solid Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, load balancing, firewalls) relevant to troubleshooting cloud-native applications
• Expert proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and the.NET ecosystem (C# and.NET Core/.NET Framework)
• Deep experience in designing, building, and deploying highly available Microservices and REST APIs
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure/AWS services
• Practical experience with system monitoring, logging, and performance analysis using tools like Splunk, Grafana etc.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms and frameworks is a strong plus
