Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Coefficient, you will build and deploy cutting-edge AI and ML solutions for diverse clients. You will gain full-stack delivery experience across various industries and benefit from investment in your professional growth and expertise.

You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, from cutting-edge AI solutions for the UK government to building transformative tools across a range of industries. You will deliver end-to-end data science and engineering solutions for clients and build and improve internal products.

Requirements

• Fluent in Python and SQL for data analysis, data science, and machine learning
• Comfortable across the Python Open Data Science Stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Hands-on experience with at least one LLM application pattern (RAG, fine-tuning, or building LLM evaluation suites)
• Comfortable with the building blocks of modern AI systems (embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and frontier model APIs)
• Excellent at agentic coding (comfortable driving tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot)
• Great communication skills and ability to share knowledge, experience, and passion with others
