Senior API Engineer (Nodejs preferred)

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on a diverse range of projects across various clients and industries, with opportunities to upskill and cross-skill in multiple tech stacks and platforms.

Requirements

• Developing applications on both greenfield projects & existing applications
• Experience with modern API technologies & microservices
• Understanding of API gateway technologies such as Kong &/or Apigee
• Ability to code in Java and willingness to learn new ones
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-based applications - Azure, AWS and/or GCP
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools
• Understanding of AI code security, quality assurance and when human oversight is critical
• Experience with MCP servers, shared context strategies and team-based agentic workflows
• Self-starter mindset and ability to work hands-on
