Job Description
Collington, a Life Plan Community, is seeking a Geriatric Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care and establish a therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- Receives a formal verbal report of the status of residents while making rounds at the beginning of the shift
- Charts pertinent information regarding vital signs, input and outputs, and weight
- Assists and trains residents with needed personal and grooming/hygiene skills
- Follows all individualized care plans and carries out all prescribed activities and treatments
- Maintains residents' rooms and possessions cleanly and neatly
- Maintains a professional manner when in contact with residents, families & friends, staff, and outside agencies
