Job description
The QA Engineer will collaborate with agile scrum teams to ensure functional and non-functional testing has been done to mitigate risks for the solution/delivery. They will work closely with team members to champion quality and ensure accurate quality levels are accessed and communicated.
The QA Engineer will prepare test cases, devise and carry out manual and automated tests, and use test-automation software to execute test-automation scripts. They will also provide links between development teams and business representatives, detect bugs, and contribute to project status meetings.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of agile software development lifecycle, experience with test automation tools and frameworks, and expertise in identifying and documenting defects using JIRA. They will thrive in Agile environments and have a mindset of collaboration and continuous improvement.
