Med Surg Tele Manager

Role Overview

The Med Surg Tele Manager is responsible for providing leadership and communication, monitoring the work environment, assuring quality, managing the fiscal budget, managing human resources, and ensuring the delivery of competent clinical practice. The manager will facilitate staff to assume leadership roles, demonstrate positive leadership skills, and articulate departmental goals and objectives.

What You Will Do

The Med Surg Tele Manager will be responsible for facilitating a high-quality work environment, ensuring equipment and supplies are available, participating in unit programs, and meeting established research-based standards of care. The manager will also develop and review departmental policies and procedures, participate in chart review audits, and maintain a consistent score of good on customer service surveys.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and Registered Nurse license, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience or a Master's Degree with no experience. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and Registered Nurse required
• Minimum three (3) years clinical leadership experience required
• Starting in January of 2016, any new hires should have: Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience or minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline or Master's Degree and no experience
