Health Mentor

The Health Mentor provides evidence-based wellness interventions to adults and teens with mental illness, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and engaging in community-based settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Social Work, Rehabilitation Psychology, Education or related field
• Personal trainer certification within first year of employment
• Experience and/or training in motivational interviewing approaches
• Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Email, Word, EXCEL)
• Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask, and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments
• Ability to exercise judgement
• Valid driver's license and automobile with liability insurance
