Job Description
Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking a skilled Blast Operator to perform abrasive material removal for component repair. The role involves blasting turbines with aluminum oxide, plastic grit, and wet blast media, requiring knowledge of safety protocols and experience with various blast equipment. CRT focuses on the aerospace MRO sector, specializing in repairing turbine engines and has evolved into a global leader in the industry.
Requirements
- Two years’ work experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with and/or familiarity with pressure gages
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic shop math
- Ability to learn the proper use of hand-tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and move heavy parts
- Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs
