ID/OD Grind Machinist- Experienced (1st Shift, Mon-Fri, Full-Time)

Experienced ID/OD Grind Machinist Technician responsible for machining turbine engine components to achieve specified dimensions in a climate-controlled and modern state-of-the-art facility. Perform grinding operations on horizontal and vertical grind equipment, select and install wheels, and accurately record findings. Participate in training process and offer expertise in OJT program for various levels of machinist technicians. Collaborate with experienced and professional machinists to achieve high-quality results.

Requirements

• Five plus years' experience operating vertical and horizontal Grind, Hone and Lathe equipment, CNC or manual equipment
• Five plus years of experience in creative problem solving on machine setups, CNC programming, tooling/Grinding wheels, fixturing
• Firm understanding of GD&T, critical dimensioning, and relationship between dimensions
• Demonstrate CNC control abilities on grind equipment to include editing speeds, feeds, tool offsets, and fixture offsets
