The Shipping and Receiving position is responsible for accepting inbound shipments of turbine engine components, inspecting and documenting them, and preparing repaired components for outbound shipping. The position performs its primary functions in a climate-controlled facility and requires a minimum of one year's experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse capacity.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience in any type of shipping, receiving or warehouse capacity.
- Experience in the use of overhead cranes, pallet jacks forklifts/lift trucks.
- Exposure to domestic and/or international shipping of parts.
- Ability or experience following directions and reading work instructions.
- Valid driver's license and a clear driving record for the past 3 years is required.
- High school or technical school graduate or equivalent.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks.
