Buyer

Buyer position responsible for daily material planning and purchasing activities to maintain proper inventory levels. Requires analysis of MRP reports and ability to make buying decisions based on lead time, usage, and material availability.

Requirements

• A minimum of two or more years of experience with purchasing/inventory management in a sales/distribution environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials
• Ability to conduct studies, analyze and interpret statistical data, and make recommendations and decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
• Proficiency using MS Office software to effectively execute work tasks
