Job Description
Comprehensive Life Resources is seeking a qualified Recreational Therapist to join their Youth Residential Treatment Facility in Tacoma, WA. The Recreational Therapist will design, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic recreation services to support residents' emotional, social, physical, and developmental well-being.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy
- One year of experience with children and/or adolescents in a therapeutic setting
- One year of experience in recreation therapy preferred
- WA State registered recreation therapist (CTRS)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, training, written, and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality
