Senior Software Developer

Role Overview

This position is primarily responsible for the development of software applications to meet the business requirements of CWS RSC Africa, with the emphasis of the position being on the design and development of bespoke applications to meet the specific organizational requirements.

What You Will Do

Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC) to build, test, and implement custom applications that drive organizational productivity, maintain and integrate existing custom systems, and deploy and configure both cloud-based and on-premises software solutions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in web application development environment with relational databases, PostgreSQL Database architecture, design and development, and PHP using Laravel Framework and JavaScript programming languages.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years directly related specialized experience performing the essential duties
• Experience in ICT project management preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT required
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment required
