Medical Assistant (J-44367)

This is a Non-Exempt position. The Medical Assistant provides responsive, high quality health care services that meet the needs of all users at their assigned location. The Medical Assistant will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the patients are met with a pleasant demeanor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar
• HIPAA and Privacy training
• Blood borne pathogen training
• CPR/First Aid
• Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language
• Utilize RPMS and EHR proficiently
• Utilize a multi-line telephone with good telephone etiquette
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Well-developed human relation skills to convey technical concepts to others and to give instructions
• Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends
