
Job description
Performs and documents simple technical functions relating to test, layout, quality control, fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical equipment and/or components. Works in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office/production setting with adequate ventilation.
Performs repairs, testing, maintenance, fabrication, inspection, calibration of components, instruments, test apparatus, and associated specific discipline equipment. Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory/manufacturing equipment.
Requires high school diploma and a technical education degree. 0-1 year of related experience and/or training. Ability to use test and measurement equipment associated with specific discipline.
