Senior Software Engineer II

ConnectWise is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II with 8-10 years of experience in backend software development to lead complex technical initiatives, architect scalable backend systems, and mentor engineering team members. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, AWS, PostgreSQL, and AI tools such as Cursor/Github Copilot.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional experience in backend software development
• Strong proficiency in Python for building production-grade applications
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services
• Strong command over PostgreSQL
• Some quantifiable experience in AI tools
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience designing, consuming, and securing RESTful APIs
• Strong competency in Git and modern DevOps practices
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
