Job Description
The Mechanical Designer will design and develop baggage handling systems and components, collaborating with engineering stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality production. The role involves modeling, component development, and creating detailed drawings for customer installation. They will collaborate on projects from start to finish, with a focus on efficient design and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Design custom baggage handling systems using CAD software (2D AutoCAD, 3D Inventor)
- Develop component level equipment, assembly, weldment, and part level models and detailed drawings for fabrication.
- Collaborate in a team setting with other engineers and customers.
- Identify potential issues and provide efficient solutions.
- Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), Manifests, and other engineering documentation.
