Job Description
The Senior Drilling and Blasting Engineer is responsible for ensuring adherence to HSE policies and developing blast plans to optimize fragmentation and comply with geotechnical pit-wall standards. They will work closely with Senior planning engineers to develop blast plans and collaborate with management to rectify any hazards.
Requirements
- Minimum BSc. Degree in Mining Engineering
- 5 Years of drill & blast experience in hard-rock, open pit mine operations
- Relevant experience in the mining industry, including experience in large open pit operations utilizing excavators and large trucks
