Controls Engineer II

Corning is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and integrate automated control systems in our fiber optic cable manufacturing plant.

Requirements

• Create/modify Allen Bradley PLC programs and design new plant control systems
• Lead automation, improvement, and obsolescence mitigation projects
• Implement robust, cost-effective controls for automation and process equipment
• Interface with integrators to deliver integrated process systems
• Support projects from design through start-up, including training plant personnel
• Review electrical designs and ensure safety and compliance with Corning standards
• Communicate/document changes and practice our core values
