Job Description
Corning is seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer to provide high-level technical and analytical expertise, solve problems, drive improvements, and develop new processes and technologies. The role focuses on process improvement, innovation, and technical leadership within a globally recognized materials science company. It's a collaborative position requiring team leadership and communication with diverse teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (Engineering or applied science) with a minimum of 10 years engineering experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in precision engineering.
- Statistical training through Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Lean Fundamentals knowledge.
- Lead teams with demonstrable financial impact.
- Demonstrated ability to permanently solve difficult manufacturing issues.
- Experience working with mentor(s) with technical expertise
- Experience across multiple divisions, functions and a global experience
