The Tooling Engineer provides subject matter expertise in engineering to improve product, process, and equipment performance and advances the innovation process. They design and analyze products, processes, and equipment, and provide leadership in problem-solving and technical expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent in technical field
- Yellow Belt Training
- Lean Fundamentals
- Track record of delivering results
- Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences
- Project leadership (scope to implementation)
- Coaching and developing junior engineers/technicians
- Manufacturing Workshops (MPIW or equivalent)
- Green Belt certification
- Black belt (6 Sigma or Innovation) training
- Project and/or manufacturing financial management knowledge
- Knowledge of Innovation Stage-gate processes
