Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a passion for cloud computing, infrastructure as code, and monitoring/maintaining highly available web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the software development team to ensure developer satisfaction and help monitor/secure AWS infrastructure.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent skills and experience
- Experience with configuration management (e.g. Chef, Salt, Puppet)
- Experience with system monitoring (e.g. Sensu, Nagios)
- Experience in and commitment to a 24/7 production environment
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Ruby, JavaScript, Python)
- Experience with system logging (e.g. Logstash, Splunk)
- Experience configuring and deploying Ruby & NodeJs web application stacks
