Job Description
Cottage Medical Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Rheumatologist to join their growing practice in Santa Barbara, CA. The role involves providing direct medical care to patients, performing minor procedures, and collaborating with referring physicians to ensure effective treatment and follow-up. This position focuses on evidence-based guidelines and clinical excellence within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (DO) or Board Certified or Board Eligible in the physician's associated specialty.
- Minimum: Physician's unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California.
- Must meet all requirements for membership and unrestricted clinical privileges of the CH Medical Staff.
- Valid Drug Enforcement Agency license - DEA Schedule 2-5.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 45 days.
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications.
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
