We are seeking a Peer Support Specialist to support adults experiencing emotional distress or life disruption in a welcoming, non-clinical crisis support space.
Requirements
- Personal experience with emotional distress, mental health challenges, trauma, or other life-interrupting events
- Ability to build authentic relationships across diverse backgrounds
- Comfort holding space for a wide range of emotional experiences
- Deep commitment to the values of self-defined recovery and healing
- Willingness to engage in advocacy and contribute to shifting systems toward more person-centered, dignity-driven models of care
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local travel
