Lead Software Engineer

Role Overview

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of new architecture and major functional upgrades for the Coupa Platform. You will work with the Engineering and Product leadership teams to co-create feature designs and provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and developers.

Lead the design and development of new architecture and major functional upgrades for the Coupa Platform, build solid expertise in the entire Coupa application suite, and adhere to Coupa iterative development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience building enterprise, SaaS web applications using modern frameworks technologies such as Ruby on Rails, ReactJS,.Net/C#, SQL, and Typescript
• Full stack web development expertise with hands-on experience building responsive UI, Single Page Applications, reusable components, with a keen eye for UI design and usability
• Experience with web-accessibility/WCAG standards, i18n best practices, cross-browser compatibility, and performance
• Strong knowledge of APIs, and integration with the backend
