Job description
The Sr. Software Engineer, Data plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure at Coupa. They collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Engineers to develop pipelines, ensure data quality, and transform raw data into actionable insights.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, optimize Spark clusters, assemble large data sets, identify and implement internal process improvements, build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading, and build analytics tools.
Ideal candidates bring strong experience in data engineering, data modeling, ETL development, and proficiency in Python or Java, along with expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
