Buyer

Role Overview

The Buyer is responsible for the buying of approved goods and services, sourcing of spot buys, and ensuring the company’s operational needs are met with consideration of price, quality, delivery, and continuity of supply for their assigned location(s).

What You Will Do

Reviews and submits auto-generated purchase orders and buy messages, expedites orders, manages inventory, communicates with the purchasing management team, and performs financial reports and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years buyer work experience in manufacturing environment
• Strategic Procurement experience
• MRP and JIT experience
• Experience operating Oracle EBS
