Director, Hardware Engineering

Cricut is seeking a Director of Hardware Engineering to lead a team of engineers in developing innovative products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in consumer product development. They will be responsible for setting priorities, hiring and developing a team, and driving product development from concept to market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred)
• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on management experience of a large team
• Proven track record as a team leader on complex projects
• 5+ years in project management related to product development
• Strong communication skills, team work and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand, apply, and mentor engineers in statistical process control methods
