Engineer III - Data

CrowdStrike is seeking a passionate and experienced Software Engineer for the Data Security Product Group. The role combines analytical expertise with software engineering skills to enhance data classification capabilities. The candidate will take full responsibility for data classification engine logic, research and design innovative detection approaches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in software development or data analysis/science roles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and detail-oriented mindset
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and data processing frameworks
• Proficiency in pattern matching techniques
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages
• Experience with Kibana or equivalent data visualization tools
• Familiarity with data analysis in scripting environments such as Python or R
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications to data classification
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
