Job Description
CSA Group has an opportunity for a Certification Specialist - HVAC who has a strong knowledge of the HVAC industry requirements and has substantial experience in the related product standards. This role will provide high quality certification, testing and field evaluation services that meets the clients' needs in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Likely 6+ years of work experience in similar industry and/or 3 years at the qualified level
- Knowledge of CSA, UL and IEC standards
- Specific knowledge of, and substantial experience with, UL 60335-2-40 Fourth Edition
- Leadership and management skills
- Computer proficiency (word processing); keyboarding
- Strong problem-solving ability; detail-oriented
- Strong organizational, time, and project management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- High level of communication skills (verbal and written)
