Role Overview

Cuesta Partners is looking for a Data Scientist in Latin America who is interested in consulting and working with our broad base of clients on various engagements, delivering advanced analytics and data-driven solutions using modern technologies and best practices while mentoring others. As a Data Scientist at Cuesta, you will analyze complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and build predictive models that support strategic decision-making. Your mission will be to leverage statistical techniques and machine learning models to drive business impact for our clients.

What You Will Do

Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to extract valuable insights. Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for business use cases. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into data-driven solutions. Use statistical analysis to optimize business processes. Communicate findings through data visualization and storytelling.

Requirements

• 3 -5 years of prior experience as a Data Scientist
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and AI projects
• Excellent communication skills
