Job Description
Transport Planner needed to join the Transport Team at the Goole Customer site. The role involves completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation, working with the Transport and Warehouse teams to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS.
Requirements
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook.
- Experience of planning units across multiple depots.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
- Customer focus on delivery performance.
- Commercially and Financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results.
- Experience of using a TMS system.
- Experience in an FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical and excel capability across standard formulas.
