We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support to our manufacturing teams, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET EAC accredited program at a four-year college or university.
- Proof of degree required.
- Be able cooperate well with other individuals.
- Have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software such as Word, Excel, Access, etc. and computer skills including computer aided design (CAD).
- Have the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and other technical documents.
- Willing and able to climb and work from high places
- Must exhibit a basic working knowledge of machinery.
- Must exhibit a basic working knowledge of electricity and electrical circuits particularly as they apply to shop equipment operations.
- Subject to departmental transfer to other engineering positions within the Manufacturing Division.
- Must be available for work during off hours, subject to need.
- Must exhibit the ability and willingness to be a hands-on, shop oriented engineer.
- Must exhibit the ability to keep accurate records of experiments and results.
- Must exhibit the ability to write technical papers and summarize results of research work.
- Must be willing and able to travel on a moderate basis with minimal notice to discuss technical issues with customers.
