Lead Data Governance

Role Overview

This position is part of the IT Department, located in Bangalore, India. You will be part of the Compliance team and report to the Compliance Leader responsible for data governance strategy, data quality, and enabling trusted, compliant data across enterprise platforms, analytics, and AI initiatives.

What You Will Do

Define and operationalize enterprise data governance practices, including data ownership, stewardship, data quality, and lifecycle management. Partner with business and IT stakeholders to establish and maintain enterprise data standards, definitions, and policies across platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 6–8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data roles.
• Demonstrated experience implementing data governance frameworks, including stewardship, ownership, and data quality processes.
• Experience working with enterprise data and analytics platforms, such as data warehouses, data lakes, or analytics ecosystems.
• Hands‐on experience with data governance, metadata, or data quality tools.
