Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Danfoss in Nordborg, you will strengthen our local Mechanical Engineering team by bringing ownership, initiative, and a proactive mindset to our Spool Valve Solutions business. Requirements

• Own mechanical designs end-to-end, from early concept to production release, ensuring high quality and manufacturability.
• Develop and improve spool valve components and part families, driving performance, reliability, compliance, and cost improvements.
• Create and maintain 3D and 2D designs, calculations, and simulations, delivering production-ready solutions together with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Collaborate closely across functions and locations, contributing actively to an agile team and successful product releases.
• Drive engineering changes and continuous improvement, reducing time to market through pragmatic and well-thought-out solutions.
