Sales Application Engineer

As a Sales Applications Engineer, you will play a key role in expanding Danfoss Drives’ presence across North America by working directly with end users, OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners to shape solutions that solve real operational challenges.

Requirements

• A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; an engineering background with knowledge of drives, electric motors, or automation is preferred.
• At least 3 years in industrial automation or electrical equipment, ideally with experience selling or supporting VFDs to OEMs, integrators, or end users.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within complex teams, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• A customer‐centric, solution‐oriented mindset, backed by analytical and problem‐solving strengths with the ability to meet customers where they are (travel up to 70%).
• Ability to build trust quickly by understanding industrial applications and communicating effectively.
